From Italian designer deadstock, this is a lovely semi-sheer/semi-opaque cotton woven with a plain weave and a black-on-black embroidered motif which alternates small-scale patterns in bands that run vertically (13.25" horizontal repeat). It is lightweight and dimensional with a cottony drape. It would make a wonderful peasant-style blouse, top, tunic, overshirt, dress, skirt, etc. Some styles may need lining or layering. Dry clean, or hand wash cold, hang or lay flat to dry.
