This is a handsome, rustic virgin wool coating, a woven from French designer deadstock. It is a medium-heavy coating weight, tightly woven and stable with body in the drape. The herringbone weave and slight brushed surface provide a wooly texture, and it looks about the same on both sides. The yarn-dyed plaid pattern (9.5" repeat) has an earthtone color story including shades of golden taupe, charcoal gray and fuzzy threads of misty gray (PANTONE 18-0000, 17-1327, 14-0000). It is perfect for a cold weather coat, jacket, cape, etc. Line with Bemberg, silk charmeuse, or your choice of lining fabric. Dry clean.
