This is a fabulous yarn-dyed bengaline stretch woven, an upscale cotton/spandex blend that has the same denim-y look on both sides. It has about 10% stretch widthwise and 20% LENGTHwise. Because there is more vertical stretch, you will want to cut your garment across the grain (so that the stretch runs horizontally on your garment). It's a lighter pants weight with medium gray weft and jet black warp threads, for an overall impression of very dark gray (PANTONE 19-0201- ish). It is tightly woven so the mottled blend of colors is subtle, giving it that two-tone denim look. Perfect for trousers, fitted jacket, skirt, sheath dress, stretch jeans, etc. It is opaque with some body in the drape. Dry clean or please test first if you wish to machine wash, hang to dry.
