Italian 'cellular swirl' textured matelasse brocade - black

From a CA designer and made in Italy, this highly-textured matelasse' weave brocade has a "cellular swirl" design in solid black that looks pretty much the same on both sides. It is a two-layer fabric with fluffy fibers sandwiched in between, woven together to create the dimensional surface texture. It is medium-weight and opaque with a firm, architectural drape. Make a beautiful topper coat or jacket, handbag or tote. Test first if you wish to try hand- or machine washing and hang to dry, or dry clean.
