Italian silk/cotton brocade - hydrangea

This is an exquisite Italian silk and cotton brocade with a micro-basketweave jacquard design that is reversible. The oversized hydrangea pattern has a 56" repeat and resembles a rennaissance painting in its magesty and detail. The colors are a mix of black and bone, and shadings thereof to create a gray palette that is much more wonderful in real life. It's a medium suiting weight with a somewhat firm drape (yet still supple and pliable), perfect for an tailored evening garment such as a fitted dress, jacket, skirt, suit, etc. It's becoming much more rare to find fabrics of this quality! Dry cleaning recommended.
