What a spectacular offering this is! From Loro Piana, this outerwear group is from the designer's "Storm System Wool" collection, distinctive for its wool, cashmere and silk face and black micro-molecular membrane applied to the back. The fabric is waterproof and wind resistant, and the backing provides breathable protection. It is smooth and refined, has the weight of a substantial rainwear, and has some crispness to the drape. This one is a very sophisticated and understated navy/silvery gray/black plaid (PANTONE 19-3919-ish but less saturated, 14-4103). This fabric was used to make outerwear that sell for thousands of dollars. Make a beautiful and sophisticated raincoat, trench or jacket, for a man or woman. Dry cleaning recommended.
