I am bringing this amazing fabric back, because of a fantastic "safari dress" posted in our EOS Garment Gallery made out of it! It's a perfect pairing of fabric and pattern. This is a WOW fabric, an embroidered linen with zebras grazing along one border of a lovely quality, medium weight linen in a natural light khaki color (PANTONE 12-0605). The embroidery colors are black, silvery white and shades of gray, and the fabric is shown below from different orientations: the top and bottom photos have the selvedges at "north and south", and the middle photo has the selvedges "east and west". You need to set your pattern pieces across the grain so that the zebras are oriented correctly. The fabric has a lovely soft drape with some body, and the weight is very versatile, suitable for a skirt, dress, jacket, vest, etc. Dry cleaning recommended by the manufacturer.
