Gucc1 wool check suiting - vanilla

From deadstock of the iconic brand and made in Italy, this yarn-dyed wooly woven is a true beauty. With a soft, lightly brushed surface, this expertly woven suiting is timeless and easy to wear. The color story is soft black, brown, a touch of rust red and French navy, and a background of creamy vanilla yarns which form an intricate and novel rendition of this check (about 2.75" pattern repeat). Yarns of varying size and characteristics offer lots of surface texture and interest. The navy and red fibers have synthetic content, and the remaining composition is wool. It is a medium suiting weight and it looks about the same on both sides, making it a candidate for lined or unlined garments. Make a stunning and classic jacket or coat, special occasion suiting, a structured dress, cape, etc. Dry cleaning is recommended, but if you choose to handwash please test first.
